Ink on paper, original 11.5×15″
This painting evolved from the series called Breath Portraits. I sit in connection with my breath. I then pour ink on the paper and breathe it around the page. As I continued to work intuitively, continuing to return to the breath, an eye evolved. Almost all of my work is abstract, but I let this image come through.
I made this painting while an Affiliate Artist at Marin Headlands Center for the Arts, Marin County, California.
Uniquely textured, thick microfibre knit fabric of this high quality T-shirt wicks perspiration rapidly away from the skin, drawing it to the surface where it evaporates.
